The goal of this game is to memorize the sequence of characters and sounds and gradually improve the ability of the working memory to remember longer sequences.

Working memory

The basic source of information coming into the human brain are sensorial stimulation, the most important being optical and acoustic. The information from the sensors is stored in the working memory and, after processing, is moved to the long-term memory.

The working memory model was created in 1974 by Mr.Baddeley and Mr.Hitch. The basic parts of this model are - the central executive, the phonological loop and the visuo-spatial sketchpad.
Testing has shown that the working memory is only able to memorize a sequence of 3-7 characters at a time for 30 seconds. If incoming information is not processed during this time, the information will be lost.

By training, it is possible to improve the possibilities of the operational memory, to remember a longer sequence of incoming information for a longer period of time.
