Background

I developed this game in about 1 week when I was stuck on the couch due to a broken ankle. I later spent some more time for the finishing touches and polishing. The game uses a midi engine to play all the melodies, so it's all generated in real time. While developing it, I spent a good amount of time watching YouTube videos to learn how to improvise melodies on a piano. I then condensed that information into algorithms which can generate infinite songs, which are not just a series of random notes or chords, but also show common features of songs, like reoccurring melodies.
